House of Circe is a queer collective. our mission is to build community through empowering FLINTA people to explore the body and sensuality through practices that are grounded in nourishing and resourcing the nervous system. Our workshops explore the body, pleasure and the self. they are created with the intention to cultivate a deeper presence within and expanding our capacity for pleasure.

Workshops are queer led- straight friendly, held in a diverse, body-positive environment rooted in informed consent, conscious and respectful communication and collaboration.

Queer led - straight friendly workshops anchored in intersectionalities and politics of the body

meet the founder

Alicia (she / her) is a queer, trauma informed somatic educator and facilitator..

She is devoted to the exploration of sensuality and connection, deconstructing both externalised & internalised patriarchal distortions while empowering humans to integrate & own their life-giving sensuality, potency, joy & innocence. Her work is anchored in intersectional feminism, nervous system work, consent and creating safe(r) spaces. She is constantly questioning established norms surrounding gender, identity, sexuality and relational dynamics.

Through 1:1 and  group work, Alicia provides tools for processing & integrating the many different facets of Self, supporting the act of bringing love & acceptance to our disowned parts.

Somatic experiencing & bringing safety & presence to the body are practices that are central to all aspects of her work. Embodying sensuality, deep rest and creating community are some of her favourite forms of resistance and activism.
